|The prospectus is available from the school office at 37A, Alipore Road, Kolkata, between 9.00 – 10.00 am & 3.00 – 4.00 pm (Monday to Friday) and 9.00 am-1.00 pm (Saturday).|
The prospectus includes the Registration Form, which is non-refundable & non-transferable.
|ADMISSION FORMALITIES FOR LOWER NURSERY:-|
|Age criteria for Lower Nursery:- A child should have been born between 1.1.2011 to 31.12.2011|
The 'Registration Form' must be completed in all respect & be put in the drop box kept near the 'Front Office'.
The School will shortlist candidates for interface with the Principal / Headmistress as per its own criteria The list will be put up on the website and notice board on 14th December, 2013 at 12.00 hrs.
Both the parents along with the child are requested to attend the Interface as per the date and time specified in the list. They must also carry the Original Money Receipt (issued on purchase of Prospectus) & the original Birth Certificate (issued by Corporation).
Parents who come after the allotted time will not be entertained.
Final selected list of students for admission will be put up on school notice board & website after the interface on 18th January, 2013 at 12.00 hrs.
For admission to Lower Nursery there are no written tests or interviews. Candidates are encouraged to interact freely with the teachers and are given various toys / coloured pencils to play with. This test judges the mental development, physical agility and basic communication & comprehension skills. Parent's interview will be held on the same day as of the child and both parents should be present.
|REGISTRATION FOR CLASS : IV - IX|
|The Registration Form is to be filled in BLOCK LETTERS and submitted in person, to the School Office between 3.00 – 4.00 pm (Monday to Friday) and 9.00 am-1.00 pm (Saturday) within 7 days from the date of issue of the prospectus. The parents/guardians are requested to bring the Original Money Receipt (issued on purchase of Prospectus) at the time of submission of Registration Form.|
Age criteria should be strictly maintained. In any case if the child's age does not match with the class he/she is seeking admission, the management holds the right to cancel the registration. ( Refer Age Criteria )
Date for admission test / interaction will be intimated during registration. However, these may be changed, by the School Management without prior notice or citing any cause.
At the time of registration, the following documents have to be submitted.
a) Duly filled up and signed Registration Form. It must be complete in all respects.
b) Attach one photocopy of the child's Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation and attested by any Gazetted Officer. Do not enclose Birth Certificate issued by Nursing Home / Hospital.
c) Paste three latest identical stamp size colour photographs of the child on Registration Form, Student Admit Card & Parent Card respectively. Also paste stamp size colour photograph of each Parent and Local Guardian on Registration Form.
d) Photocopy of the Report Card of the last annual examination attended at the previous school (applicable from Class UN ).
Note: Registration will not be carried out if any of the above documents are missing.
Incomplete or illegible Registration Forms will not be accepted.
The Information provided in the Registration Form should be true. In case of discrepancy with the facts, the School authority reserves the right to cancel the Registration Form as well as the admission of the child.
No Application of a rejected candidate will be accepted. If a rejected applicant applies and his/her application passes the initial screening, the application will be rejected as soon as the re-application is identified by the school authority.
|Both copies of the Admit Card are to be brought at the time of admission Test / interaction. The Parent Card is to be retained by Parent / Guardian and is required to be shown in the 'Front Office' after the admission Test / interaction is over.|
There will be a written test for students seeking admission for all other levels in the following subjects: English, Maths and Vernacular and Science (only for students in Class VIII / IX).
Based on the performance of this test, a list of would be put up on the notice board & school website informing the date of interface with the Principal / Headmistress / Section Head. Both the parents along with the child are requested to attend the Interface as per the date and time specified in the list.
The 'Final Selected List' would be put up on the notice board & school website for admission after the Interface.
No request for change of dates for Admission Test / Interview / Interface will be entertained.
|Admission Formalities |
|The final list of selected students & the admission formalities will be put up on the School Notice Board and the website and the same to be completed by the due date mentioned|
It is mandatory for all students (UN onwards) to submit the original Transfer Certificate and the
photocopy of the Final Report Card from the last school attended. No student will be allowed to attend School without the submission of an official Transfer Certificate from the institution last attended, nor will the student be placed in a class higher than that for which the Transfer Certificate shows him/her to be qualified.
Pay Order/ Draft (no cash) should be in the name of SRI SRI RAVI SHANKAR VIDYA MANDIR TRUST A/C SRI SRI ACADEMY, payable at Kolkata. For the amount please refer to the fee structure sheet in the prospectus.
A sample ECS Mandate Form is given on the reverse side of the Fee Structure sheet, which can be photocopied and filled as per instructions given. Please submit this ECS Mandate Form duly stamped and signed by the bank along with a cancelled cheque at the time of admission. Please note, payment of tuition fees through ECS is compulsory.
The School Management, reserves the right to have the final word in all matters relating to the admissions.
|Withdrawal and refund rules |
|In case of withdrawal Admission Fees is not refundable , whether the student
has attended the classes or not from the beginning of the session.
Only Security Deposit will be refunded , after all dues to the school are cleared.
One month prior notice is to be given in writing for withdrawing the child and dues
will have to be paid as per the table given below:

Fees as per the table above shall be paid whether or not Transfer certificate is applied for,
which will be processed once all dues to the school are cleared.
Education and Transport fees will be charged in accordance with the rise in the
price index etc. and may increase by about 10 to 15 percent at the beginning of a session,
as determined by the School's Management.
Annual fees is charged for the Financial Year -- April to March and must be paid in advance
as per the fee structure , through ECS.
